NEW BERLIN – Jerry Batzner won two awards in November for his Wisconsinbased pest control company.
The Better Business Bureau awarded Batzner’s pest management company with the “Torch Award for Business Ethics and Integrity” for demonstrating excellence in ethical practices, service excellence, reputation, honest advertising, management practices and employee training in ethical behavior and peer recognition, according to a news release.
Batzner won the runner-up for this award last year, but managed to take the first place torch after being reviewed by a panel of 12 business ethics experts this year.
The Batzner organization was also recognized as a “Future 50” company, which is a list of “rising stars” in the southeastern Wisconsin business community. To make the “Future 50” list requires that you be a privately-owned business for at least three years and have shown “significant revenue and employment growth,” according to a news release.
Batzner Pest Management is a family-owned business in its third generation.
