Fields of Many Dreams Update

The School District of Waukesha would like to update the progress of the Field of Many Dreams community project which involves installing synthetic grass fields at Waukesha North, Waukesha South, and Waukesha West.  This project is entirely funded by private donations, fundraising, and advertising.
 
In 8 weeks, we are pleased to announce that the project has approximately raised $300,000 towards the 1.8 million dollar total cost.  The donations included advertising spots, private donations, and in-kind donations.
 
Companies who have purchased adverting spots so far include Securatech, Therm-Tech, Waukesha Youth Football and San-A-Care.  Information about advertising and pricing information can be found at http://fieldsofmanydreams.org
 
“At this point it looks like this will be a project that will be completed in Fall of 2012 unless someone steps up with a major donation in the next month.” explains Glen Norder, Director of Facilities for the School District of Waukesha.
