First Bank Financial Centre Announces ''Holi-Days of Giving''

October 29, 2014
OconomowocFirst Bank Financial Centre (FBFC), a full-service, community bank with 12 locations throughout southeastern Wisconsin, is spreading good cheer this year with its “Holi-Days of Giving” initiative. Throughout December, the bank will help wishes come true by delivering $500 checks to 12 nonprofits and gifts, valued up to $500, to 12 families or individuals.

Anyone can nominate a local charity or someone they feel deserves a little holiday magic. Nominations can be made now through November 14 by visiting any of the bank’s 12 locations or online at FBFCWI.com/holidays. In December, each First Bank Financial Centre branch will grant an individual wish and donate $500 to an area nonprofit. FBFC has locations in Brookfield, Germantown, Grafton, Hartford, Hartland, Menomonee Falls, Mequon, Oconomowoc and West Bend.

“We have a long history of giving back and supporting the communities we serve. It’s a commitment that’s woven into our culture and spirit,” says Mark W. Mohr, president and CEO of First Bank Financial Centre. “We hope our gifts will be used in all sorts of ways to bring joy. We’d love to fly grandma home for the holidays, fund care packages for military troops overseas or give a local charity a boost.”
In 2013, the bank donated nearly $250,000 to area organizations; and its employees contributed volunteer hours to more than 300 groups and nonprofits. This year, FBFC is on pace to match those numbers.

First Bank Financial Centre has served southeastern Wisconsin since 1859. It recently opened a new branch in Brookfield at 12600 W. North Ave. and completed a four-story expansion of its headquarters at 155 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Oconomowoc.
