GIMBEL, REILLY, GUERIN & BROWN CELEBRATES 50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
In 1968, after arguing some of the most high profile cases of the time as a federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Franklyn M. Gimbel founded the firm. Frank’s late brother, Stanley P. Gimbel, joined the firm a year later followed by former federal prosecutors Richard E. Reilly and Thomas E. Brown and former Department of Justice Special Agent D. Michael Guerin.
Founding Partner Franklyn Gimbel states, “It gives me a sense of great pride that the law office I started 50 years ago, following a 5 year stint as an Assistant US Attorney, has grown and matured into the vibrant offices of today’s Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP.” Frank continued saying, “We have 16 attorneys with unique skill sets including academic accomplishments, commitment to community service, and a track record of successful outcomes for our clients of every economic, ethnic, and vocational background.” Attorney Gimbel finished by stating, “Our goal always has and always will be to give our clients better outcomes than they otherwise would have had.”
The firm has continued to build upon this strong base of attorneys, adding the experience of Denis J. Regan, Kathryn A. Keppel, Patrick J. Knight, and Raymond M. Dall’Osto in the 1980s and Christopher L. Strohbehn, Erin M. Strohbehn, Steven C. McGaver, and Jason D. Luczak in the 2000s. Most recently, Joshua L. Gimbel joined the firm as a partner after twenty-five years at Michael Best & Friedrich. Max T. Stephenson, Russell J. Karnes and Brianna J. Meyer also joined the firm as Associates.
