Historic Masonic Temple Under New Ownership

October 28, 2014
WAUKESHA, WI – Just a stone’s throw from the beachfront area, the historic Masonic Temple located at 126 N Main Street in Downtown Pewaukee has a new owner and a new future in store.

Mangold Creative, a local marketing firm owned by Heather and Mike Mangold of Merton, Wisconsin, has purchased the facility with intent to renovate it for new office space. The brick building is an ideal location for Mangold’s growing business, allowing them to expand both staff and services in the future.

Dating back to 1924 and unoccupied for the past few years, the building requires major renovations. Construction is already underway on this quaint Downtown Pewaukee landmark. “Mangold Creative is looking forward to being a part of the Pewaukee Main Street neighborhood and to have an environment reflective of our vibrant, creative, and diverse work,” says Mike Mangold.

The new location, a quick five minutes from Highway 94, boasts nearly 3,000 square feet of office space on the upper level, and a large multi-purpose space on the lower level. “The beauty of the multipurpose area is all of the options it has for Mangold Creative, our clients, our colleagues and the business community at large - be it seminars, strategic planning meetings, business events, or photo video/studio space,” Mangold continues.

The Village of Pewaukee Planning Commission unanimously approved Mangold’s plans for revitalization of the space back in July. Scott Gosse, Administrator for the Village of Pewaukee shares Mangold’s excitement. “Our community needs to continue to focus on growth and businesses, as well as preserving the unique nature of our historic downtown area. We’re excited to see new ownership of a property that has sat vacant for several years, and are pleased that Mangold Creative will help in continuing to make the Village of Pewaukee a fantastic place to work and live,” states Gosse.

As active members of the Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce, Waukesha County Business Alliance, Metropolitan Builders Association, Brookfield Chamber of Commerce and the Delafield Chamber of Commerce, Mangold Creative is looking forward to continuing to build its relationship with the local business community they serve. Construction on the building should be complete in mid 2015.
