Hot summer activities at HAWS

July 30, 2015
HAWS, the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, heads into summer’s homestretch with a Pet Fair, Collection Drive, Oils Seminar and more!

Come to HAWS’ 8th Annual Pet Fair in Menomonee Falls on Saturday, August 15th from 9am-4pm at Rotary Park (Fond du Lac Ave./Lilly Rd.). This FREE, pets-welcome event features pet and pet-themed products, presentations by pet experts, games and raffles, plus meet'n'greets with adoptable pets from HAWS and our rescue partners. Come, sit – and stay all day!
Reduce your “carbon pawprint” with the Friends of HAWS’ Collection Drive on Saturday, August 29th from 10am–3pm at HAWS. Rid your closets of unwanted clothes, shoes, household linens & other textiles and the shelter receives a donation for every pound collected! Help HAWS, clean your closets and save the planet! Collection bins will be available in HAWS' parking lot from Friday, 8/28 thru Sunday, 8/30. If you are unable to stop by on Saturday, please drop off your items in closed bags.

HAWS’ Behavior Department presents 2 great seminars in August!
August also features the regular events such as “Pet”-icures for cats and small animals, pet training classes, great Mobile Adoption Center stops, the Friends of HAWS monthly meeting, Pet First Aid and more. All the details are at hawspets.org.
