Hydro-Thermal Celebrates 80 Years of Steam Innovation

November 24, 2014
Waukesha, WI - On Thursday, November, 13 Hydro-Thermal Corporation celebrated 80 years of steam innovation with an event that harkened back to 1934. This invitation-only, activity-packed day long celebration was held at Hydro-Thermal world headquarters, located at 400 Pilot Ct, in Waukesha, WI.

The event featured many different forms of period entertainment including live music by WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) award winning polka band, The Squeezettes, and professional swing dance demos by Jumpin’ Jive Club. Caricature artist, Bill Begos, captured attendees in their 1930’s garb and the event’s keynote speaker, Chip Lutz, inspired with his perspective on unconventional leadership. Rounding out the attractions was a multimedia historical exhibit, complete with Busby Berkeley and 1934 MIT films, along with office and shop tours.

Many attendees dressed in period style – from old school bobbys, to retro sports characters, to swanky high fashion and high society movers and shakers, and more. Guests were even greeted by a fleet of Model A automobiles, courtesy of the Model A Ford Club-Wisconsin Chapter, and also a 2015 Maserati, courtesy of International Auto in Waukesha.

The 80th anniversary celebration took place during Hydro-Thermal’s annual sales meeting which unites the organization’s sales staff and channel partners from around the world. The event’s guests also included Hydro-Thermal customers, vendors, local government, current and past staff, neighbors and business associates.
