Hydro-Thermal Corporation hires Michelle Palmquist as Chief Financial Officer

January 09, 2020
Hydro-Thermal Corporation, the global leader in steam injection fluid heating systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Palmquist as Chief Financial Officer.  Palmquist joined the company on an interim basis in May 2019 and became CFO in December.

Prior to joining Hydro-Thermal, Palmquist had major divisional roles at Kellogg’s in Battle Creek, Michigan and GE Healthcare in Waukesha. She worked directly with senior leadership in evaluating the financial performance of major business units and led the charge on a global supply chain financing program at Kellogg’s.

“Michelle brings a wealth of big company experience in finance and accounting,” said CEO Jim Zaiser, “but she also fits into our company’s culture in a way that folks with big company experience often don’t.”  Zaiser added that Palmquist will play a key role in helping the company expand over the next five years and beyond.

Palmquist is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and earned her MBA at Keller Graduate School in Chicago.

Hydro-Thermal Corporation designs and manufactures a wide range of heating systems that inject steam into fluids to achieve precise and consistent temperature control. With more than 20,000 heaters installed in more than 80 countries around the world, Hydro-Thermal’s relentless pursuit of innovation has been the cornerstone of its success and global leadership for 86 years.
