For Immediate Release

LindenGrove Communities, a nonprofit organization with a history of offering high-quality supportive living to seniors in Waukesha County, announced today it will open assisted living suites on its Waukesha campus that are designed specifically for older adults living with chronic medical conditions.

Featuring 20 private bedroom suites, a bistro, comfortable living area and outdoor patio, the Lodges at LindenGrove will provide a more independent living option for individuals who need care above and beyond the capabilities offered by traditional assisted living facilities but who do not require the 24-hour care of a nursing home.

“Seniors who are living with a chronic medical condition and no longer can live on their own have typically had one choice for a living option – a nursing home. We’re extremely proud to offer the Lodges at LindenGrove as an alternative,” said Linda Joel, LindenGrove Communities President and CEO. “The Lodges are being created to help our residents maintain their highest level of independence and functioning, while offering a safe, dignified and compassionate environment that is focused on meaningful activities, socialization and spirituality.”

Each bedroom suite will feature a half-bath and a charming exterior façade complete with window box planters, colorful front doors and warm, welcoming outdoor lighting.

At roughly one-half the cost of a nursing home stay, the Lodges at LindenGrove will provide a significant savings to families looking for an alternative to skilled nursing for their loved one.

The Lodges may make an ideal option for seniors living with a variety of conditions, including neurologic, cardiac, pulmonary, orthopedic, oncologic, and metabolic conditions.

LindenGrove Communities expects the Lodges to open in early 2018. Potential residents will be able to reserve a suite in advance of the opening later this fall.
The Waukesha campus is located at 425 N. University Dr., next to Waukesha North High School.
