Wisconsin Philharmonic ''My Favorite Things: Joyful Sounds of Christmas''

October 25, 2018
Wisconsin Philharmonic “My Favorite Things: Joyful Sounds of Christmas”
Featuring Local Choirs and the Brusubardis Family

Stay warm and enjoy the sounds of your favorite holiday tunes with the Wisconsin Philharmonic in their traditional holiday concert in their biggest collaboration to date! The Philharmonic is joined by the choirs of Hartford HS, Waukesha North HS, Milwaukee Children’s Choir, Jubilate Chorale and Waukesha Choral Union and the guest artists for the evening are the extremely talented Brusubardis Family. The community partner joining the Philharmonic for the evening is NAMI Waukesha and will be the presenter for the pre-concert conversation.

It is a concert that’s sure to be remembered for years to come, as we celebrate the amazing Brusubardis clan - “the Von Trapp Family of Waukesha” - as Ernie, Indra, and their talented children bring you a garland of favorite baroque concertos, followed by a bouquet of Holiday gems that will warm your heart through Christmas and the New Year! Our biggest collaboration of choirs ever - from Hartford to Waukesha, to the Milwaukee Children’s Choir, in their Philharmonic debut - will make this a perfect community event.

The concert will be held at Shattuck Music Center at Carroll University on Tuesday, December 4th at 7:30 pm. An hour prior to the concert, the audience can join NAMI Waukesha in the Dorothy Goff Frisch Recital Hall as they share stories and ways to have a healthy, happy holiday.

For additional parking, a Coach Bus will be running from the Waukesha State Bank parking lot on 151 E. St. Paul Ave to Shattuck continuously starting at 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm and then return after the concert starting at around 9:30 pm.
