Sky Zone Launches Fitness Challenge

April 02, 2015
Waukesha, Wis. – Since summer is right around the corner, Sky Zone in Waukesha is hosting a Fitness Challenge to help area residents get back in shape and tone up. Now through June 30, Sky Zone is offering unlimited access to its SkyRobics classes for just $150.

In addition to a sleeker physique, the top three individuals who achieve the highest percentage of weight loss will be rewarded for their efforts. First place receives an entire year of free SkyRobics classes, second place gets three months free and third earns a 10-pack of classes.

SkyRobics is a fun way to burn up to 1,000 calories while bouncing on a trampoline. Plus, Sky Zone makes it easy to exercise with weekly classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in the morning and evening.

"We incorporate P90X, Insanity and boot camp exercises so participants get an intense and effective workout that burns lots of calories," says Barbie Gonzales, fitness manager for Sky Zone.

To participate in the Fitness Challenge, visit Sky Zone at W229 N1420 Westwood Drive in Waukesha or sign up at skyzone.com/Milwaukee. For more information, call 262.696.1600.

Body Benefits from Bouncing
  • Bouncing uses almost every muscle and focuses specifically on the stomach, arms and legs.
  • When jumping, core stability muscles are consistently engaged to provide balance. This type of training helps boost the metabolic rate and the body’s ability to burn fat and calories.
  • Trampoline jumping is a low-impact workout. The trampoline springs absorb about 80% of the shock from the rebound. This absorption reduces the stress on bones and joints (like the knees and spine) and minimizes the chance of injury. Repeated low-impact exercise builds and strengthens bones and muscles.
  • Jumping against gravity is considered one of the most beneficial aerobic exercises. As jumpers come down on the trampoline, greater gravitational pull (G force) is put on the muscles. As a result, heart muscle fibers get stronger.

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park is located at W229 N1420 Westwood Drive, Waukesha near I-94 and County Road F.
