SURG Cares set to join the fight against muscle disease by hosting first annual Charity Dinner

July 07, 2014
MILWAUKEE, WI — 200 tickets are available for the inaugural SURG cares charity dinner to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.  This new annual event will take place at Milwaukee’s newest banquet venue, SURG on the Water, located at 102 N. Water St.  The evening will highlight the remarkable progress that MDA is making on the path towards a cure for Muscle Disease as all proceeds will benefit MDA and the 250 current research grants they are funding.  Miss Reagan Imhoff, MDA’s National Goodwill Ambassador will be in attendance to talk about her hopes for research, what MDA means to her and how the money the community is raising is helping children just like her in Southern Wisconsin. Reagan and her parents, of New Berlin, are excited to represent Wisconsin on the national stage and share their experiences with the community.

MDA and SURG Cares are pleased to be partnering together to bring a one-of-a-kind evening to the Milwaukee community.  The feature of the evening will be the tremendous menu the chefs at SURG are putting together, they will be serving up selections of Mangalista Pork and Wagyu Beef.  This will be a dinner you don’t want to miss.  Also involved in this unforgettable evening will be a luxury raffle, a cocktail hour to meet and mingle and a reception featuring live music and the beautiful views of the Milwaukee River from the SURG on the Water deck.
