At a ceremony on Three Pillars' campus in Dousman, staff from dining services, househkeeping and nursing care were awarded scholarships ranging from $750 to $1,000 to help with tuition costs.
Duane Bunting, Secretary and Scholarship Committee Chair, said, "As a lodge, we love the opportunity to help out a wonderful group of young students with their education. The generous scholarships wouldn't be possible if it weren't for continued efforts by the Glenn L. Humphrey Lodge and individual donations."
Three Pillars President & CEO Mark Strautman is grateful for the investment in their employees. "My sincerest thanks to the Glenn L. Humphrey Lodge and everyone involved for helping this great group of individuals. It's rewarding to see the impact this has not only for the students, but also for the community."
Chief Human Resources & Compliance Officer Kathy Bernaden noted the importance of helping staff and the positive impact it has on retention, "Our success is a direct result of our employees and its' important to recognize and reward them for them work. Caring about them as individuals and as a crucial member of our team helps our retention rate and showcases another example of what makes Three Pillars an employer of choice."
