Vrakas Adds Bill Mitchell as Director of Corporate Relations

The public accounting and business advisory firm of Vrakas S.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Bill Mitchell as Director of Corporate Relations. Primary responsibilities will include attracting resources and representing the organization and its benefits to the business community.

Bill’s most recent work as Executive Director of the Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC), included facilitating the growing economic base of Waukesha County by helping businesses interested in relocating or expanding in Waukesha County. He designed, implemented and measured business development strategies to ensure Waukesha County businesses were remaining globally competitive.
 
Bill is active in many professional organizations, including sitting on the Board of Directors for both Wisconsin Business Development Finance Corp and Lumen Christi Ministries, Inc.  He is also a member of the Wisconsin Economic Development Association, Wisconsin Innovation Network and the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a Bachelor of Business Administration and also earned his Economic Development Certificate from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Bill was born and raised in South Milwaukee and currently resides in Greendale with his wife of 38 years. Away from the office Bill enjoys walking, golfing, reading and calligraphy. He also stays active in his church and community.
