(Waukesha, WI)– The Waukesha County Manufacturing Alliance, a program of the Waukesha County Business Alliance, is entering its 3rd year and is pleased to announce several new partnerships. Joining First Business Bank, who has been a partner since 2010, are Kolb+Co., S.C., Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, and R&R Insurance Services, Inc.
Dave Vetta, President of First Business Bank Milwaukee, understands the importance of the Waukesha County Manufacturing Alliance. “Manufacturing has been and continues to be the backbone of industry here; we have an obligation to invest in the expansion and attraction of firms. With more than 20 professionals dedicated to serving manufacturers through their Manufacturing and Distribution Focus Team, Kolb+Co. is a strong advocate for Wisconsin’s manufacturing industry. More than 25% of their clients are closely held manufacturing companies, so they know what is important to the success of those companies. Cheryl Aschenbrener, Kolb+Co. Michael Best & Friedrich LLP's Advanced Manufacturing Team is a special industry initiative undertaken by a group of attorneys who provide proactive legal counsel to manufacturers to ensure seamless development, production, distribution and defense of their products. Kevin Moran, serves as Chair of this team, comprised of attorneys from their intellectual property, business, real estate, environmental, litigation, and labor and employment groups. They focus their practices on serving the diverse needs of product manufacturers in the fields of consumer products, food and beverages, industrial machinery, and vehicle parts and accessories, among others. “Having a team of attorneys who focus on the advanced manufacturing industry allows us to increase the value we provide to our manufacturing clients through attorney collaboration across many legal disciplines,” he stated.
Frank Maurer, Executive Vice President of Commercial Lines for another partner, R&R Insurance Services, will also join Manufacturing Alliance Steering Committee. “R&R Insurance is very proud to be a partner. We the members of theWaukesha County Manufacturing Alliance pledge to promote the advancement of manufacturing in the greater Waukesha County area.
