Blessings In A Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack of Waukesha County mobilizes community volunteers, schools, government agencies and businesses to provide weekend meals to school children who are facing food-insecurity. We partner with local schools to deliver nutritious, child-friendly food to ensure that local children have food for the weekends. As of March 2021, Blessings of Waukesha provides food for 2,200 school children through 27 partner schools. It's estimated that nearly 15,000 children under the age of 17 in Waukesha County are suffering from food-insecurity and not knowing where their next meal will come from!
