LOCAL HELPING LOCAL: Good Harvest Gives Back

Pewaukee Good Harvest Market raised over $2,880 in a single day for Parents Place, Inc, a Waukesha Family Resource Center. As a part of their 5&5 day, 5% of all food sales were donated as well as an additional 5% discount customers received which could be gifted as well. The money will be supporting community education programs, supervised visitation, parent support worker programs, and born learning; all of which strengthen families and work to protect children. Last year alone, Parents Place devoted 11,636 service hours to help approximately 2,000 adults and children in Southeastern Wisconsin. Parents Place will continue to receive future gifts from Good Harvest due to being chosen as one of their ECO Token program recipients, which will continue to empower local nonprofits that aim to support the community.
