MICHAEL SWOPE JOINS WAUKESHA STATE BANK WEALTH MANAGEMENT AS DIRECTOR OF WEALTH MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Waukesha, Wis. (April 17, 2025) – Waukesha State Bank, a full-service community bank with 14 offices throughout Waukesha County, is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Swope as the new Director of Wealth Management Services within its Wealth Management division.

Michael brings more than 20 years of investment and wealth management experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as Director of Institutional Consulting Services & Senior Institutional Consultant for Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc., where he led the firm’s $5 billion institutional consulting business – supporting top-tier clients and financial advisor teams nationwide. Prior to that, he was Director of Manager Research and Vice President at BMO Global Asset Management, where he managed large, commingled trusts and oversaw more than 230 active managers.
In his new role, Michael will lead the Waukesha State Bank Wealth Management team, overseeing investment strategy, portfolio management, financial planning, private banking, retirement plan services, and brokerage offerings.
Michael holds both Bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration degrees in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Reflecting his commitment to community involvement, he also serves on the Finance and Investment Committees for Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.
