Three Professionals Bring New Expertise, Experience to ActionCOACH Business Coaching
Cortney Ihde and Mike Thompson bring strong, diverse backgrounds in sales, marketing, team-building and leadership development to their work as Certified Business Coaches. Allison Garde, a Carroll University senior, joins the firm as an intern focused on marketing and client interaction strategies.
Cortney Ihde, the newest team member in the Pewaukee office of ActionCOACH Business Coaching, has a wealth of experience in business operations and marketing, and has held leadership positions across a variety of platforms. She worked nine years in a family-owned automotive dealership, focusing on business development and customer service, and later employee training and engagement. She nurtures her entrepreneurial spirit with two ongoing businesses: a consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations navigate and implement change, and a direct sales company.
Ihde holds numerous certifications for coaching, team-building, leadership and sales. Her passion for community service is illustrated by many years of leadership and volunteering for organizations devoted to women, children and families. She holds a B.S. in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Mike Thompson has nearly three decades of background in sales strategies and management, having successfully grown sales volume, territories and teams in a variety of industries. He has held hands-on and management roles in marketing and public relations outreach, plus talent acquisition and personnel management responsibilities.
Thompson’s lengthy career encompasses the fields of manufacturing, staffing, distribution, banking, health care, insurance and business consulting. He was instrumental in expansion of the CFO Roundtable networking program at the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, which involved more than 100 financial executives. He holds a B.A. in newspaper journalism from Marquette University.
Alison Garde will graduate in December from Carroll University with a B.S. in business administration. A native of Orfordville, Wis., she assists ActionCOACH Business Coaching with online and social media marketing, tracking marketing data, and developing strategies for client interaction.
