WISCONSIN SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS COUNCIL ANNOUNCES 22 COMPANIES HAVE ACHIEVED GREEN MASTERS STATUS

Award will go to top 20% of program participants at the annual conference Nov. 16 in Green Bay

The Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council (WSBC) has announced the companies that have achieved Green Masters Level status for their Green Masters Programs. The Green Masters Program, now in its 14th year, recognizes businesses throughout Wisconsin that have taken at least one action within each of the nine pillars of sustainability, which include Environmental, Social and Governance actions. This select award is given to the companies whose achievements are in the top 20 percent of performers in the program.

“The Green Masters program is a comprehensive tool for businesses to assess, monitor, and improve their sustainability programming, to benchmark against others in their industry and to receive a third-party certification recognizing and affirming their sustainability achievements,” WSBC Managing Director Jessy Servi Ortiz said. “These companies’ commitment to sustainability has also awarded them enhanced bottom-line benefits and brand recognition.”
