We also help companies learn the skills they need to help their neurodiverse workforce assimilate more easily into their work group. Neurodiversity-inclusive companies are more innovative, profitable, competitive and human.
It’s expensive to maintain open positions, expensive not to hire the most qualified candidates, and expensive to let qualified candidates go when they are performing the job requirements even though they may have difficulty fitting in.
15-20% of the population is neurodivergent. One in 45 people is estimated to be autistic. 50,000 autistic individuals enter the job market each year. So why is the college-educated autistic population 85% under/unemployed when companies say there is a skills shortage? Autism is misunderstood in the workplace. Awareness and acceptance training changes that for employees.
