Adolescent & Teen Outpatient Program for Mental Health
Now more than ever, teens and families need support, community, and comprehensive care. Most of all, they need hope. Newport Academy’s teen outpatient program ends isolation, helps adolescents build a sense of meaning and purpose, and addresses issues that, when not dealt with, can increase the risk of suicide. Newport’s teen outpatient treatment offers three levels of care, IOP, PHP and outpatient services, all of which provide evidence-based treatment proven to help clients heal from mental health and co-occurring disorders, including trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse.
We treat the underlying trauma and attachment wounds that manifest as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and co-occurring issues such as substance abuse, self-harm, and eating disorders. Our programming is specialized for crucial moments of development in a young person’s life, as they navigate the multiple stressors and changes associated with adolescence. Each client receives an in-depth assessment that informs a tailored treatment plan, combining a variety of clinical, experiential, and academic/life skills modalities.
